I'm looking into getting a bino tripod adapter for hunting out west.  I was wondering of y'all that have tried it, did you find it more comfortable to glass?  Normally I only use the tripod for the spotter, but after some thinking, I could definitely see the binos on a tripod being beneficial.  Any other pro's or con's that you have would be appreciated!

I use my tripod adapter all the time!

I have a cheap Vortex-branded adapter that threads to the adapter socket on my bins.  I have the adpater on a QR plate for my tripod head.  I spend hours behind my binoculars mounted in this way.

The cons are it takes a little time to get the adapter on and off.  Meopta's quick adapter design looks pretty handy, though.

Thanks for the reply!  The only one I've looked at so far is the Swaro adapter for the newer ELs, but it is kinda of spendy for the job its doing.  Is there a more generic/cheaper one that you would recommend, with consideration to weight?

Probably not. Swarovski has designed a specific tripod adapter for the EL series of binoculars.
