What are the advantages from one size to the other? Is one better in low light than they other and if so how much better? I have been looking at Conquest and they are all in one inch. My buddy tells me that the 30mm is what makes scope perform best in low light.xxxxxx

Where did so many people get the idea that bigger tubes make scopes better in low light? I have read that this was started by somebody's advertising campaign. Is that true?
Who started it? |
