I live in Austin and am headed out this weekend near Rocksprings, about 5 miles west of the YO ranch to my buddies place to do a little Turkey hunting and probably some night time varmint/hog hunting...

anyone else been doing any good with Turkey this season near the area?

Have family in Fredericksburg fairly close to the YO. Never turkey hunt but always see them down there.

i think it is a great place for turkey hunting.  plenty of thunder chicken in the area.
Kris Kristoferson: Why do people hate france? They have wine, beautiful women and 400 different kinds of cheese.

Waylon Jennings: Hell Hoss, you can get all that in Ft. Worth!

The rascals come right below my back deck door in a little meadow and feed . My grand-daughters threaten me if I kill any . They and the turkeys win ....

The Mr. Ed show has already been "brought up" by Mister Funny Man-- Big Squeeze Stare !!
....He is always calling me Mr. Ed, the horse!!  He brought it up so much that some OTHER Comedian put WILBUR underneath Big Squeeze's Hot Lips avatar!!!!   hee hee.......... Laugh

We are still trying to find the culprit of THAT joke.....(it wasn't ME, 'cause I don't know how to fool around with a computer!!)

Anyway, just call Squeezer WILBUR!!!   He likes it!!!  Light%20It%20Up
