Long shot here, but I saw a rifle with an old Pachmayr Lo Swing scope mount. The scope is an older one as well. The mount is really LOW so looks like it'll limit the size of the Objective lens used. Possibly affect the eye piece as well.

Does anyone know if there's any good 1" tube scopes (that are almost straight)? I know this is probably a dumb question that's not worded correctly, but I'm not too scope knowledgable!  Thanks in advance for any info or recommendations!

I hope someone can help. I'm tempted by this rifle (a custom 270 Mauser) but don't want to pursue further if there's no scope options to replace the old one. Thanks again in advance!

Well. what is it wearing now?  It's gotta be able to handle a 32 mm scope.  ( But don't pass up that Mauser!! Shocked )  What kind of Mauser is it?

Even the REAR was tight! I remember moving the bolt back and it barely got by the rear of scope!

BTW, the scope on it is a older Weaver K4.
