Vortex 6-24 ffp on pcp .22

   I ordered a ffp. Vortex diamondback. Wanting a decent scope under $500. Am I thinking correctly for a combo scope for hunting and target shooting, for hunting use it below 16x and benefit from not having to be at full power to make accurate holdovers and for target with bad eye benefit from higher magnification. Maybe my thinking was off never had a ffp scope before so wanting to try something that could cover me on hunting and target precision shots.

	Sounds good logic. Just check the scope has enough paralax adjustment down to closer air rifle ranges. Best wishes, Scrummy

	Just received it today and check prior to ordering its paralax goes down to 10 yards so I think it will be perfect. The scope i really wanted only went to 25 and I just did not think it would have been the correct decisions. Well thank you for the advise that makes me feel I am on the right track.

	10 yard PA is needed on small rodents at short range. My 2 Vortex scopes on springers are always set on 10 yards.
