Hello guys, I'm from The Netherlands so sadly I can't order from the US (your laws and stuff), so I'm doomed to whatever I can find here in Europe. I'm not sure if I picked the right forum, but I plan on using this scope on a variety of airguns and low recoil firearms and maybe some airsoft. Distances won't be further than 300 feet when shooting and my budget is around 150-200 euros. I'm looking for good eye relief if possible.

I've found this Vortex Diamondback 1.75-5x32 available here, is it any good?
The Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 is also sold here for around the same price, should I go with that?

Now I know about the no-competition rule here, but since this vendor isn't in the US and I can't order from your store, could someone check this website if they have anything else worth my while?
(if I'm still breaking the rule, please edit my post admins/mods)

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Welcome to Optics Talk.

While I appreciate your candor, your situation and your reluctance to break the ROE's here, I had to edit the link you posted, in the name of fairness.

However, I'm sure the good folks of the forum can recommend a suitable option for you, according to your aforementioned requirements.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and good shooting.
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

i have a vortex diamondback 2-7x  that i have been using on a ar-15 for some time.

it is a very good scope for the money, clear ,bright and holds zero well.

nikon makes good scopes as well , though generally prefer the vortex scopes over nikons provided their about the same price model.

a really inexpensive scope that i have found to work pretty well is a BSA turkey plex  1.5-4.5X  it seems pretty good on my 9mm ar-- i shoot it out to about 150 meters-- i don't know if you can find those out there.

i'm sure that the diamondback if a far better scope than the BSA-- and vortex backs their products.

Thanks cheaptrick, I understand completely.

JD548, that's nice to know. I'm hoping for others to give me some more feedback on this.

Can't edit my post so sorry for the double post, I'm now set on the Nikon 4x32 Rimfire scope. I think it will do nicely and have read a lot of good reviews.

Anyone can confirm that? It's a heck of a lot cheaper too.
