i need a new scope for a varmit gun i have, and i wanted something good, but not costing more them my gun..

i did some reading and heard some good things on Vortex. 1 of the biggest was its "craftsmen like" no BS warranty
so i decided to buy the Crossfire 6-24x50 AO

the scope and glass looked great for the cash, but the turrets were a bit "wobbly"

i called Vortex and asked if this was fixable or did it need to be replaced.

tech support said it would need to be replaced and i could send it in at any time to be replaced.

since it still held zero well, it wasn't a huge issue at the time and since im in prime varmit killing time i didnt want my gun to be down sending it in to be replaced.

so i asked if they could send me a replacement and a return shipping label to send mine back.

they said no problem and "Brian" even went into the warehouse to hand pick the replacement.
Brian called me a few hours after and let me know the all of the scopes in this model "tall target turrets" seem to have a "bit" of a small wobble in the turret and he was taking the issue to higher up's. but he picked the scope with the least play and sent that.

i received the new scope in a few days and took it out to varmit and all was good.
a week goes by and i had to send Brian this email

Quote man i have bad luck.. The scope was working grate till my gun slid off
my car and bent the eye piece. So it looks like i my need for u to send
out another replacement.

his answer?

"we can do that, same address?"

seriously?... what more could you ask from a company?

i will recommend these to anyone that asks. and i hope this helps to sell a few more.

My interactions with Brian were also positive, they do indeed have great Customer Support.

Now, if they could turn out a few scopes that didn't require the frequent use of their excellent Customer Support, I'd be that much closer to really liking them.

I just had a Vortex CS experience this month & to say that they took care of me is an understatement. I bought a used 6.5x20 44mm online and upon initial zeroing I found that I was having problems with the adjustments not moving 1/4" per click @ 100yds but more like 1/2" per click. I sent it in for service with a note stating that I hoped I could have the scope back in time for a varmint hunt 4 days later. I fully expected Vortex to try but fail with the short turn around time & I already had dug up an old Bushnell to use as it's replacement. Anyhow, I get a call two days later (it took two days for it to arrive in Wisconsin) from Brian & he runs through the problem I described. He said that they checked the scope out & couldn't replicate my issue but said, "no problem, we'll take care of it". The next DAY I had a NEW scope at my door so I never had to go through the trouble of mounting & zeroing the old Bushnell. Didn't lay down any critters during the hunts that weekend (terrible weather, etc.) but the new scope zeroed in 4 shots & tracks perfectly.

All I can say is they are 100% behind their products. I'll buy them again & definitely recommend their products to anybody.
