Hello everyone,
I'm new on this site and had a few questions that weren't being answered else where. I will be going elk and whitetail hunting this year in Montana and the guy who owns the property says that he has seen plenty of nice deer but there all way out there. He has had shot opportunity on elk from 100 but some all the way out too 600 yards. I want a scope that will help me out here. I will get a long range reticle, but also want to dial incase i have the time to dial. I would like to keep it under a 1000 dollars if thats possible.
So far the majority of people have directed me to the Leupold VX-3 with CDS and Boone and Crocket reticle or the Vortex Viper PST.
I was wondering what everyones thoughts and opinions were on the VIPER PST? and what else you have have to suggest to me?
