Is there another scope out there is in the same class more or less (price, weight, clarity etc) but with impeccable tracking what would it be?
Thank you for all input. |

You could go with a tactical scope like SS 5-20x50 FFP these may go on sale near tax time that has happened in the past. https://www.swfa.com/swfa-ss-hd-5-20x50-tactical-30mm-riflescope-3.html

HUGE weight, scope power and price difference friend. Weight alone is 16 vs 30 ounces!
They need to be similar in those respects

I get that but the ability at long range to strike the target is significantly better. Have you considered a used Zeiss Conquest that gets it down in the same price range you want to be at, but with better glass better power range. I have a Conquest in 4.5-14 with this Rapid Z800 that I like, but it takes some work on the range to know what you will get. Still it is 24.7 oz so it may be too heavy for you if you hunt sheep in the mountains. You may find the Leupold is the right scope for you given your price range and weight concern.

Appreciate the input sir.
I decided to go with a vortex 4x16x44mm. Heard nothing but great things about the tracking on every review I read.
