Hi. I would like to know what anyone thinks of the Weaver Kaspa 1.5-6x32 Riflescope Illuminated Tactical Ballistic X. Good, bad?

The price says it all. If you want to save money and buy a weaver than go with the classic line.

The price absolutely does not say it all.   What a useless statement.

I picked up it's big brother (the 3-12x TBX), but I've only been out with it once so far.
  • Glass is clear, but on the 3-12 you get a little bit of the tunnel experience.
  • I like the reticle (thin lines), but the ballistic drop lines are about useless for me.  They don't line up well with any of my loads, but the open mil dots and reticle in general are nice and thin like I like em.
  • The illumination is only really suited for dusk/dark and not bright daylight, but there are no illumination artifacts or bleeding on mine.
  • Turrets are fine (1/4 moa) and quite beefy under the resettable dials
  • Construction and overall QC looks good so far.
  • The 3-12 has a side focus dial which works like a champ.
I bought mine locally at the nearby sporting goods store with the no questions asked return policy.  That way if I do have quality control issues, I can simply return it.

So yeah, its a sfp mil/moa scope, which is more tacticool than tactical, but where it counts (glass, turrets, reticle, magnification), I like what I get for the money.

Cheap scopes can get expensive and you truly get what you pay for.

Who knows you may or may not have to worry about:

Internal failures

Glass Coating degrading

Losing Zero

Seals Leaking

I really hope that it works out for anyone that needs to buy a scope they can’t afford on a rifle they can.

I looked through one last week and immediately put it back down on the counter. The field of view was narrow, and it didn't appear terribly bright or clear. The other scopes I looked through were a Vortex Razor 1-4 (didn't like the reticle or price), Burris MTAC(didn't like the reticle), Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4 (?), Leupold VX-III 1.5-5, and Leupold VX-6 1-6.

Granted, the Weaver was the lowest price that I looked at, but I would recommend that you continue looking for something else unless you find one that looks good to your eyes.
