Ya know, the best part of that meeting with the vet about those blood suckers, was the look on Mrs. BF's face and the razzing I gave her laterWink
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I've seen quite a few mantises (?)  and walking sticks here in the yard in Grand Prairie and on the brick of the house.  We also have our little team of lizards that wander around the walls eating bugs....Lots of times the lizards get on the screen door and the glass panel at eye level. We open the door up carefully so they can get away...

Those stinking stink bugs have returned, and man are they pissed. Working on my shed yeterday, they were all over the place and just wouldn't leave us alone. One pf them landed on my friend's shoulder, crawled under his shirt and spooged him.

We have plenty of the pink little geckos on the bricks of the house looking for insects.  Sometimes they get closed up in the door jamb.  It was hot and dry this summer so we were spared the mosquito holocaust.

Correct. I didn't realize that it was solely the female. I thought they both would.

Also, not all mosquitoes are bad and / or bite humans. Some are predatory and eat other skeeters. Big Grin
If we're not suppose to eat animals...how come they're made of meat?

As my failing memory recalls, Toxorhynchites tree-hole mosquitoes do not bite man. (edited for spelling)
