I've heard that Chinese ZOS scopes aren't that great, but do you reckon they'd be able to hold their zero on a 17 HMR? If not does anyone know of something that could? I'm looking for something illuminated, more than 3-9 zoom and an adjustable parallax (preferably side wheel adjusted) to suit a poor person's bank account.

They are horrible, absolutely horrible...

Try Nikko or BSA or something else but not ZOS or anythings similar.

You can do alot better VORTEX, MUELLER, SWIFT  a few to look at and they won't break you

I think this is what I would put on it but its way different than what you are looking for.  The reason I like it is the first focal plane reticle means hold over marks are true at any power setting. \
